Previously operating as a Marks & Spencer store, the new Margate Digital Campus brings education directly to the High Street, creating an exciting opportunity for the East Kent College Group. 

Spread across three storeys, the campus provides vibrant skills‑demonstration spaces, collaborative breakout areas with booth seating and study pods, production labs and studios, co‑working zones, and dedicated recording studios—known as sanctums—designed to foster creativity. 

Every aspect of the scheme is centred on delivering comfort and functionality for the campus’s 300 students. Hawden provided full MEP design and energy assessment services to EKC Group for this landmark project.
